Well once again truth probably lies somewhere between Howard's version and O&A's version of the story, regardless of working together or just in the same building.
Either way O&A's really successful and they'll keep being successful. They're hilarious...I never questioned that or said Stern was better than they are. I've just stated that Stern's going to do nothing but make Sirius happy they jumped on and made the investment in him going forward. Sky's the limit for the King of All Media.

Nope--listened to it several times, and I simply like Sirius's format better. As soon as they strike a deal to get ACC games and other conference formats, then you can bet you'll see a lot of people jump ship to Sirius from XM. They're music format is more interactive and more fun, IMO from listening to both. (NOTE--I'll save you the time--that is opinion.)
And King of All Media is a nickname/moniker for Stern--like calling Eldrick Woods "Tiger". Whether I believe it or not (I don't), it's his nickname.

Well I have to know it since I sell it at Crutchfield. Let me say this on the sales side. I have spoken with customers since mid December from the NY/NJ area, and you cannot find a Sirius tuner within a 150 mile radius. Everyone is sold out up there due to Stern. This was never an issue with O & A when they went to XM. That gives you some idea of Stern's impact.
Basically, had XM not been the first satellite radio system out, and had the deal with GM, they would be far behind Sirius in subscribers.
As for Sirius landing the ACC, it probably will not happen football_fan. XM landed the entire conference, and what Sirius does, is they try and sign schools instead of conferences. They go for schools who have the largest national fan base, and alumni who move farther away from those schools. Pretty smart marketing idea. If the ACC is dropped, then you might see Miami, Duke, and UNC added because of that situation.
O & A worked for the same company as Howard, but he got them kicked off the air for stealing info, and not liking how they were doing things. I guess that goes to show who had more clout (therefore also ratings overall) within Clearvision.
MG if you have any questions about a product or anything, feel free to let me know, I will be glad to help you out.

Both companies can be received in Canada, but it is limited depending upon the area you live in. XM is going to begin allowing their tuner to be officially sold in Canada, but already both companies have many subscribers from the great white north.
